Will the hood from a 1987 Nissan 300zx fit onto a 1986 version of the same car?

I was in a minor front end collision with my 86 300zx, and when I got an estimate I was told I would have to bring in my own hood. While I understand I will need a new hood, its a problem with how uncommon good condition, individual body parts for the z31 are (not to say the z31 is really uncommon, I mean on an individual part basis.) From my research, the 1986 version has a mixture of the body from the 1984/85 and the 1987+ years. Would there be any problems with getting an 87' hood, which is the only once I've seen in my area so far, (before searching junkyards.)
