Driver door lock

Asked by GuruCY8Y7 Feb 08, 2019 at 12:15 PM about the 2013 Nissan Rogue SV AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes the driver door lock won't unlock when key is turned off.  Others
doors unlock.  Also, sometimes the driver door won't unlock from the key fob.
Any suggestions?

This just happened to my 2018 Nissan Rogue the day after I drove it off the lot. Drivers side door would not unlock while car was on or off (in park both times). After trying for several minutes and different methods it finally unlocked (not sure exactly what triggered it to unlock) and was able to get out of the car. I'm hoping someone can post the issue and resolution soon on this. Nissan is saying they never heard of this issue.

Nissan can said what ever they want, but my 2017 Nissan Rogue with only 30,000 miles the driver side door lock is not working, all the other doors are okay.

My 2018 Nissan Rogue has had multiple door lock issues. Both back doors went and were repaired at Nissan. Now the passenger side front door is doing the same. Key Fob and door buttons won't unlock or lock.

I was told by the dealership that it is the actuator gone out. And was told it would be around $550 to repair.

Little different issue here. 2018 Rogue and only my drivers side door will not respond to the FOB or the lock buttons inside the car. I can only manually lock or unlock that one specific door. It’s doesn’t matter if the vehicle is running or not, or what gear it’s in...the dang door will not respond to anything besides my key or if I manually do it.

Both rear actuators went on my wife's 2018 Rogue Sport. Then the front passenger door as well. It was replaced under warranty. Should be a recall.

My car door would not unlock with either the button on the door or the key fob. ALL the other doors would open when I hit the unlock button. We tried disconnecting the battery to reset it, and various other things. We read, take the door apart, and that it could be the door actuator. It dawned on me that I have a KEY located inside the actual fob, so I unlocked the door with the key and WAAAAALAHHHH... the door unlocks with the door button and the key fob again. So try unlocking the door with the key ... I think something was just stuck.

My 2019 Rogue failure to unlock or lock with either Key fob or push button on door handle . Bad design. These features should last the life of the car. Won't buy another Nissan.
