Battery dead on 2013 BMW 528i xdrive

Asked by GuruJT9ZV Jul 26, 2020 at 06:38 PM about the 2013 BMW 5 Series 528i xDrive Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First time happened.  I understand batter is in trunk, but are there jump points
under the hood to jump start the battery?  Manual is in trunk as well.  I can
open driver side door with key fob. No key outlet on trunk area. Under hood
I see red plus on left side above washer fluid. Is that possibly a jump point?
Again, I have 2013 528i sedan. i left it for 9 days in heat.

Yes, the under hood posts are for charging and jump starting the battery. Connect the posts like you would if you were attaching to the battery. Positives first then negatives.
