Check air filter and also clean throttle body with throttle body cleaner spray and change fuel filter if have not done so in a while. Check also for vacuum leaks and add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.
Have an OBDII scan done. CEL on or not. Sometimes codes get thrown that don't light the CEL. And don't delay, if your fuel/air mix is not right you will damage your catalytic convertor in a short time
2 possible main faults. Either from the engine or the transmission. Ok, as u rev the accelerator, check the RPM meter, does it rev up like it normally would? If it does, then it's the transmission problem.
Identify the main fault first before proceed to the next step.
