Where is located the thermostact?

between the engine and the radiator- there should be a coolant hose going to it- your car is a 2013 and there should be nothing wrong with your thermo- and is the car under warranty?

60 month - 5 year ... 60,000 drive train warranty, so unless you drive long distances and have racked up over 60k, the t-stat is part of drive train, being an engine part. Nothing I can can add to jam's post, agree the the t-stat would be exceedingly rare to fail in 2-3 years. If I may ask, what's going on? I study Toyotas and Corolla in particular, and am interested. Nothing exotic about the location, just like most cars, just as Jam said. Upper radiator hose on outlet from engine is housing

2013 corolla 2.4 litre termostat location
