Makes noise when you give it gas

At an idele truck makes no noise,  give it gas a
there's a ticking noise, trying to figure if I'm using
the wrong email oil? 5w30

Ticking could be exhaust gas leak or lifter noise. You could try changing the oil or adding an engine cleaning agent to the oil in case it is a stuck lifter. Other wise start looking and listening to your exhaust manifold. If the is happening with a load versus just sitting still I would think it is pre-ignition ping if that were the case gumout fuel system cleaner and or higher octane gas.

Ty I did put in cheap gas from heb today before heading to abilene, this is the second time from that place, didn't think it may be the gas

If it turns out to be ticking lifter add some Lucas Engine Oil Stablizer to oil after removing same amount of oil from vehicle as on the bottle of Lucas.
