I just purchased a 2004 ford ranger xlt 4-door-It has power door locks and a theft light in the dash--I was told that all I would have to do is get a fob and program it and that I could have keyless enty-is this correct.? If so could I do this my self if I get the fob. Thanks, elw24

You will probably need to get the fob straight from Ford, the system is a factory style system. If I were you , I would double check the vehicle has this option before you get a fob . Stop in at the nearest Ford dealer and check with the service manager .
