Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck starts and runs fine for
about a hour then if I hit a stop light
it will die . Some times it will start
right back up but at times I have to
sit there a few.minutes. I have
replaced the cap and roster, ignition
coil and wires , throttle position
sencor and the ignition switch , oh
and I have changed some fuses
hoping that might help.

Any applicable trouble codes? If it only stalls at idle, check and clean anything that has to do with idle air system. There is other testing you can do, if it refuses to restart. Visually check for spark at the plugs--proper fuel pressure--fuel injector pulse--check for rpm signal. I realize if your stranded somewhere, it's difficult to do all that testing.

Sounds like a vacuum problem. No codes coming up from check engine light ever related to vacuum problem?
