P0341 error code

Can this code be generated from a bad starter ? Grinding sound occasionally when starting the CRV in the morning
Cleared lights but came back on after a day. Alternator still at 12 volts and battery is good after checking. Is it possible it's the alternator? Car runs fine with no issues other than trouble lights coming on???
Just wondering if you figured this one out, because I also have a 2013 AWD CR-V that has all of the same symptoms. I'm suspecting the alternator. Thanks.
I also have a 2013 CR-V, I have been dealing with this code on and off for 9 months, I have had the timing chain and tensioner, Cam chain replaced, Vtc actuator replaced, had a hard reset of the code, cam sensor cleaned of debris, then both Cam sensors replaced, and most recently a new battery. The check engine light and the other two lights are on again, ugh!

The grinding noise you hear during your initial start-up after the vehicle has sat over 8 hours is from the vtc actuator. The oil slowly drains back into the crankcase and the rattle will happen until it builds oil pressure again. The power steering and vsa lights are only on because of the check engine light. These vtc actuators were junk since 2009 and they didn't update them until 2014 or 15. It's usually out of warranty when you first hear it. Ask your service advisor for goodwill assistance. And a rental. And threaten them with a poor survey so they can't feed their family that month. The auto business is great ain't it. Junk hondas...bring back the 1997 civic.

We also have a 2013 CRV that had error code P0341. Similar symptoms: check engine light, power steering light and VSA light on. However the alternator shows 14.1 volts when running with lights and audio system on. Our problem was a stretched timing chain and after the chain and tensioner were replaced, the code cleared and all lights went off.
We also had a P0341 error that was accompanied by the Check Engine, ABS and Traction control Lights. We also noticed that the Cruise Control would not engage. My Experience: 1. Took the CRV to a National Car Repair Company, they stated the timing belt was stretched. (BTW: It has a timing chain.) The repair would cost $3500.00 2. Took it to a local Honda Dealer: They stated it was a bad sensor, bad ECM and a couple of other things. Cost $4500.00 (Also suggested two other non-related repairs for another $4500.00) 3. Read the codes myself with a Veepeak OBD2 BLE and P0341 was the only error code. Purchased the Camshaft Sensor from my local Advanced Auto using the 20% online discount for $106.00. Took about 10 minutes to disassemble everything, 2 minutes to replace the sensor and 10 minutes to reassemble. In 30 minutes, no more error code or error lights. NOTE: When this began, the car was not running rough or anything. The lights just appeared and cruise stopped working. Found out later, sensor failures can cause other lights and errors to appear. Start with most obvious and cheapest repair first.

Anyone ever solve this problem? 2014 Honda CR-V. Same thing. Engine light, power steering light, anti lock and tire pressure. New battery, replaced cam sensors, lights still on. Alternator reading good.
