buy out of state and ship
I noticed big difference in pricing in states outside California. Would it be
feasible to buy out of state and have the truck delivered to California? How
much would that cost? We are looking for either a Chevrolet or GMC 2500
4X4 diesel and seeing where and how we can get the best pricing. We are
looking at $35,000 or less. In CA that is going to be a used and older
model, but thinking we may be able to do better buying out of state. Can
you provide us more information on this thought. Thank you.
Make sure you buy a car that is smog legal in Kalifornia. Call dealers to get the best price but your cheapest way to get it back to the land of fruits and nuts would be to pick it up at the dealer, inspect it and drive it home. You could also try internet pricing which most dealers do these days. You still will have to pay California sales tax.
Yes, it is very possible. I sell a lot of vehicles into California. Shipping is pretty reasonable because there a lot of freight trucks going into California. I have a 2012 Chev Duramax in that price range. Let me know if your interested
