Trunk Space

Looking to purchase a Gen II Viper convertible and need to know if the trunk will hold the soft top and a suitcase? I will be using this vehicle for a part time daily driver and for weekend trips (top down part of the time) with friends who also have convertibles. Currently own a Honda S2000.

How big a suite case? The size of an over head air line bag will fit. The top? How much can you fold it? Or have your bud put it in there Honda.

Not many people drive a Viper as a daily driver. But each his own, way cool car. Actually I'm envious...but if you have the duckets Happy Motoring! just be careful, cop magnet.

Yes a small suit case will fit. I actually will carry 2 bag chairs and cleaning supplies in mine going to cruise-ins and shows.

The top on the 2003 Viper does not take up any trunk space. The trunk space is the same whether the top is up or down.

Follow-up. I've decided to bump up to a Gen III convertible (2003-2006) partially due to the issues like storage. Thanks for the tips.

I wanted aGen II last year the viper had the convertible with hard & soft top. Though it was hard to find my husband found one. What a joy 4 Me!
