how do i locate the blower to change a resistor on a 2004 ford ranger

2004 ford ranger the blower only blows on high I was told to change a resistor but where do I find that

the blower is probly under the passenger side of the dash maybe by the floor, but likely under the passenger side of the dash

The resistor sits right on top of the blower motor itself, the wiring harness plugs into the resistor and the motor plugs into the resistor.

The blower is located under the hood.passenger side on the heater box and the resister is right next to it.Held in by two 8mm screws.
