I'm changing the water inlet connector tee that slips into the water pump and attaches
to the lower rad hose and a heater hose.the biggest problem is the one end that got into
the pump is behind the alt bracket. I've removed two bolts but can't find any more any
help would be appreciated-thanks Chuck

Look at the altenator look for the bracket it sits on. On my 4.0 engine it sits on the engine block but yours is different. If you took the bolts out it should come right out. Make sure to take off the sensor and battery connector
Thanks for the info. The problem I have is I can't see the bolts near the top. The 2.3 bracket mounts on the side of the of the block. I can't find a picture or diagram that shows the top bolt.

If you can find the altenator look down. And find I think 4 bolts. Mine is 2 but it's threaded in the left(passenger side block) all you gotta do is look for it man haha
There is a little item with 2 small bolts you need to take off of the mount to get access to the top bolt.
