changed fuel pumps 1997 Viper wont start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the fuel pump on a viper GTS 1997.  Car will not start.  cranks just
fine.  checked connections.  has new plugs, wires and fuel injectors.  Help!

Did you verify that the fuel pump runs? When you turn the key on do you hear a hum from the fuel tank? Did you check the fuel pressure?

Did that no pressure. Found out it was the alarm system that locked me out. you have to push the lock and unlock buttons until u here a chirp. then get in and start the car. Worked after that. thanks

You were right. I pushed the lock and unlock buttons at the same time and it chirped and started right up. thanks
