I put Trail Master's DD43SSV on in 2002 and it eats bushings on the upper A-arms. Is there a decent straight axle that will fit under? Gear ratio isn't an issue, because I'm getting away from 3.55

well u gotta check out axles of different ratio to see if it fits. i would suggest u to take ur vehicle to a dealer and get the right suggestions there. http://dodge-dakota.org/
