Question type: Maintenance & Repair

hey guys, I recently bought a z as my
first car. I've found that it needs a lot
of work and now a new problem
came up. I'll turn the car off including
the lights at night then when I wake
up the next morning my headlights
will be up and my passenger side
headlight will be on. I then find my
battery to be dead. this will happen
every day or two. do you know why
it's doing this?
thanks, Jake

Not sure- it sounds logical if they are vacuum operated headlight doors- loss of vacuum would make them pop up- I had a T-Bird that would do this- putting a new vacuum hose on fixed it- but if you have electrically operated HL doors, then you will need to get a wiring diagram- I hate pop up lights- just something else to have to mess with- a real '70s idea-
