My dakota will not start unless gas is poored in the intake wonder if lack of having o2 sencer would cause it not to get gas

Asked by tjp993 Nov 25, 2014 at 10:14 AM about the 1996 Dodge Dakota Sport RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck has fuel pressure to the fuel rail , i checked all fuses and nothin is blone, the
only thing that has changed since i drove it is i put a muffler and tailpipe on it and had to
remove the back o2 sencer . idk if that should make the truck not run at all i have a 97
chevy with cut wires to the o2 sencer but it still runs but runs rich. idk if same rules apply
to a dakota
