Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good, on all ends, not just at the battery. If battery is down get it charged up. Check your charging system. I can only help with testing. Any applicable trouble codes? Do you think your security system is involved? Some ford security systems will disable starter motor. With testing, there are ways to bypass everything to see if starter motor will crank the engine, but, that doesn't mean it will start. If you try that make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
