v8 1994 dodge dakota gas mileage

Dear boobymc-- If your 1994 Dodge Dakota is an automatic you can expect 14 to 16 mpg. If it a manual, expect 15 to 20 mpg. Good luck from Bovan.
if i buy a 94 dodge dakota with a V8 magnum is there any thing that i can do to add MPG other then the air intake
Honestly the most effective thing you can do to improve fuel economy is adjust your driving style. The gentler you are on the accelerator the better your mileage will be, try to avoid braking whenever possible.... coast to lights. Making sure your fluids are good (engine oil, transmission oil, and differential), good plugs/wires, ect.... and free flowing intake and exhaust, all combined will help slightly.
i actually own a 94 with a v6 and i get about anywhere from 14 to 18 depending on whats in the truck and the road conditions
also the v6 and v8 magnum are very similar and also the gas mileage will be affect if its 4x4 or 2wd with the limited slip rear end
