my ford escape is not charging my brand new batt

i have let a mechanic check my alternator with a scan it was charging good but still my brand new batt is nearly dead i check all fuses everthing seemed ok i dont know where else to look

I have a multimeter but checked my batery its giving me 11,5 V i will do the parasitic test to see but my battery is not fully charged can i still do th parasitic test Tom i thank you very much for this valueble info thanks a billion i wil do the test and let you know
