I have acquired a 1984 porche 928 cp v8 that had extensive mechanic
maintenance compleated prior to being parked in dry storage for about
the past 11 years. After some general minor clean up, i was amazed with
the overall good-great condition of the hoses, wires, ect. The tune up
parts and all fluids looked brand new and fresh. however for my peace of
mind, i still replaced all the fluids, spark plugs, fuel filter, and battery . i also
dropped and cleaned out the fuel tank. as well as cleaning up the starter
connections. It turns over but does not start up. i double checked my
connections and made sure my battery had full charge. however i still am
experiencing the same problem. I would like to know how i go about
checking to make sure im getting spark, or how to check to insure the fuel
delivery. as i am thinking maybe i have a issue with wires of my fuel
injectors. i would greatly appreciate any advice and/or ideas on which
direction to go in regards to resolving this issue. Thank you
