Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1983 944 has been gone over by several owners...but currently she is a
no start, as the new fuel pump is not receiving power.  I have checked and
replaced the fuse and fuel pump relay (just above it in the fuse panel), but to
no avail.  When the key turns, I can feel the fuel pump relay click, but the
circuit at the fuse is still dead.  Please Help Me Porsche Gurus?

There is no power to the fuel pump until you try and "crank" the car. Have someone turn the engine over and check the connection of the fuel pump to see if in fact you have no power. You can also try to disconnect the fuel line coming into the fuel rail and see if the pump is working and you have gas coming out of your line.
