I want wider and bigger rims and tires

Can i put bigger rims on my 93 Dakota

how big do you want to go? you need to measure the rim offset from the hub, the diameter, and the backspacing to get what you're looking for. the rear can go wider than the front because you don't need to have turning angles/radius for the front wheels. I believe the 6 lug R/T sport dakodas had 16"x 10" rims with 255/70r16 tires

My 93 dakota has 225/75r15 all around and I wanted to go with 235/75r15 for mud but someone told me to go wide for flotation how wide can I get keeping all 4 tires uniform I'm thinking 31" biggers and also I'm putting front and back lockers with a 3" lift front and back, I'm telling you all this because I'm wondering if you have figured your tire situation out yet and what you did
