Hi! The trunk wouldn't open but thank you guys for the info.. here's my quick fix.. and at first.. I was going to go to the dealership and spend approx $350.. Bc no oucs of how EASY it is to fix and I'm better lasts longer than a dealership fix of est $350!!

Sorry for typos., but seriously, it's a quick easy fix! The fish sinkers cost $.97 cents for 16 of em and only took me 15 min to install!! It's super easy. Don't be discouraged. Just get some needle nose plyers, s flat screwdriver (I had to pry the sinker a tad to go over the cable,) slide the latching bar over (I used a flat screw driver to do that) and crimp the sinker on!! Keep your tools in glove box just on case.. but so far so good for us!! A lot cheaper than a dealership replacing the broken plastic washer!!! (That'll prob break again)
