Best engine swap

Now at some point I wanna swap the old 4.6 4spd for something maybe a bit
more effiecient maybe, like a v6 6spd, would I be able to put a f150 v6 in or
would anyone know any good swaps for this old sleeper. Nothing too crazy.

I doubt you would gain any fuel economy with a V6. Under powered cars don't get good fuel economy.

Okay well is a newer f150 engine possible to put in, including the 6spd auto. Just whatever works.
