My Stealth has an engine code of 6G72 and i was wondering if any motor with that code will fit in my car? like for example out of a Mitsubishi 3000GT or a Mitsubishi Diamante!

just make sure its no a turbo engine that your dropping in
I have seen everything from 3.0 Montero engine blocks and 3.0 Dodge Minivan engines to the Evo V engine being dropped in Stealths and 3000GT's Just goes to show that with the right conversion, time, effort, and patience... or plain insanity, anything Mitsubishi fwd will fit. The craziest conversion I've seen was a VR4 with the engine moved midship and the awd reversed somehow. I wanted to ask details but the owner was quite busy. I suggest that if you get any old 6G72 and drop it in, be sure to use the block only as most of the accessories are Stealth/3000GT specific. Also, keep and rebuild your original engine if its salvagable. Many times, what seems like a complete engine failure on one of these engines turns out to be a head gasket or (at worst) a cracked head itself.
