Fuel issues

Hello everybody my name is Wayne and I am trying to teach
my self mechanic's I recently got a 1989 volvo 240 non
turbo that was well taken care of but now has an issue with
getting fuel to the engine it seems and I have replaced the
whole in tank fuel sending unit the external fuel pump the
fuel relay the sparkplugs and sparkplug harness  and I have
also checked the fuel injectors and they are working fine
but the sparkpmugs are always dry it will turnover
sometimes and stay running as long as I at least have my
foot some what on the gas does anyone have any idea as
to what could be the problem I would greatly appreciate it

make sure the fuel pump has a good ground , there may be crap somewhere in the line blocking it , "linestogo" is where I go for fuel lines
