Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 92 Dakota with the 5.2L auto trans and it stopped starting one day. I checked fuel pressure and couldn't read anything. Replaced the pump, lines and filter. I bench tested the pump before installed the tank. It moves fuel. I still show no pressure at the rail. but there is fuel there now.I repaired the blue set and red set of wires under the power box on inner fender even though they didn't look corroded. The fuseable links there aren't burnt up either. So I poured fuel in the throttle body and it will start. It also has a new computer in it. What do I do from here.

Have you tested the wires to the fuel pump to see if they have power? Also there is a kill switch for the fuel pump in case it gets in to a crash it may need to be reset

I'm wondering if the fuel pressure regulator is bad...

That's odd if you have power going to the pump you should have fuel pressure. If you are sure you have power going to the pump then the reset button is ok, when you crank the engine does the fuel pump has power?
