I had my engine replaced and within days, the check engine light came on. The dearlership said it was due to a loose vacuum seal. It turns out (after I took it to a different garage) that is was loose spark plugs: they were nearly falling out of the engine! I went back to the dealership and they said that the spark plugs probably backed out of the engine. Personally, that sounds like a bunch of crap to me. Has anyone experienced that with this modle vehicle??

Hi jrAZ, I've not had this particular issue with the spark plugs falling out of the engine, but I have had inadequate (to say the least) work performed on my own vehicles at the dealership. I can only assume that they have new automotive graduates working on our vehicles - learning as they go. THIS IS A SCARY THOUGHT! A trip to the dealership either feels like I just went to visit a politician (they lie about everything and treat you like you're stupid) or I asked my teenage son working on my vehicle (with little automotive experience). Sorry to hear about the experience. You can take it up with Ford Motor Company, but you already know how that's going to turn out. Good luck!
