Dear sethcrowderoklahoma-- You need to use the Internet (Google or Yahoo search engine) to find a good tuner site for information on adding horsepower to your 1992 Dodge Dakota. The computer chip that came from the factory with your truck is basically set for decent pickup and decent economy. You can get a different chip that will sacrifice the economy for more power. You might also add a cold air intake to your engine. They are fairly simple to install and sellers claim they can add up to 26 horsepoer to your truck. Good luck from Bovan.
