Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought a MB 190e from a family friend but it was sitting in his driveway for the past
few years without any use.

Here are the issues:
1. Driver-side window won't roll up all the way. (clicks when it gets a couple inches from
closing)
2. Back windows don't work.
3. Sun roof doesn't work.

I've checked the fuses and they are all working... Any ideas what the issue might be?

The main one is closing the driver window as soon as possible (Seattle rain is
unforgiving). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need a window regulator for the drivers window. They tend to loose the last few teeth which prevents them from closing all the way. Open the car door, place a hand on either side of the glass and push it up. This should enable you to close the window temporarily to keep the weather out until you get a replacement mechanism.

Wrong, sometimes the mechanism gets jammed around and needs to be turned up so that it lifts the window all the way up..

I found the fuse bad but looked good. It was burnt at the one end that snaps into the copper clips to hold fuse in place. Bunt that it made some contact but failed to move either window. Bad connection bad fuse.
