Does the Lincoln Town Car have an airbag system for accidents?

I'm looking to buy a 1986 Lincoln Town Car from an owner and i was wondering if they
have built in airbags. Thanks

These cars are truly well built, and with the size of them combined with the crumple zones, do perform quite well in a crash provided you use the seat belts properly.

Agreed, Tracy. My Brother had an 86 MGM Colony Park that was a fantastic car until the body mounts broke at 500,000 miles. Even the original transmission was working like new. Being a 351 car, it was still returning about 33 miles to the U.S. gallon, too.
