Where is the orfice tube for ac located

Overheating when I put ac on?

The orifice tube filter is in the high side line of the A/C system that is the small line if you follow that line you will see a disconnect that takes a special tool to separate line then you will need a pair of needle nose pliers to remove filter from inside of line but that would not cause your vehicle to over heat you would just have no A/C. If you are over heating you have another problem. Are the fans coming on when you turn on your A/C ?

Yes as we have high side pressure however when the compressor kicks on the low side gauge hardly moves at all .
