what would I have to do to change the fuel pump from the electric fuel pump to a stock pump on a 1984 Chevy Caprice Classic
no gas getting to the carb...but if I pour
some in there it will crank but not stay
crank
Is engine stock? If so on some models there is just a blank plate placed over where the manual fuel pump should go. Remove two bolts, remove plate, clean gasket surface, add new gasket and stock mech fuel pump. I am only showing mech pumps for your car. If some one changed it over to electrical for some reason the stock mech one might still be attached to the block.
