1987 Chevy Caprice Classic engine swap

I have a4.3L V6 1987 Chevy Caprice classic. I was wondering what size block
is in this car. Also if I replace the engine can I swap it with any engine that has
the same block size.

It's 262 CID. There's enough room in your engine bay to swap in just about anything, as long as you don't mind changing out front end parts due to increasing engine weight/location and hookups. The Chevy small block V6 however is a pretty popular motor, a lot of Jeep owners have been swapping to it. Check for how to's on any number of Chevy performance forums.

I also got an 87 caprice honestly you can really fit any size engine under the hood I'm putting a lt1 under mine but even GM back in the late 80s put a v12 inside a box chevy
