On a 89 Chevy cavalier Z24 5 speed manual with a new clutch and pressure installed, what would cause no pressure after bleeding?

I have a 89 cavalier Z24 5 speed. I am in the
process of replacing clutch and pressure
plate and release bearing. After bleeding
the slave cylinder, I cannot build up
pressure on clutch pedal. I have gone
through 3 quarts of brake fluid bleeding and
trying to build pressure. Does anyone else
have suggestions on what else I can do or if
u know what it could be please help me.

I can only assume you are pumping the clutch like you bleed the brakes,this is not the correct,the clutch is a free bleeding system,fill resivoir with fluid,hold clutch pedal down to floor,then open the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and let fluid flow free,do not pump pedal,you may need to do this 3 to 4 times untill all air is removed.
That is exactly what he was doing. Now we have done it the correct way u suggested, but we can't get it to go in gear. Someone said that the clutch disc could be on backwards. Your thoughts?
This depends,when bled right do you have pressure on pedal or not,if it is still soft and does not have pedal,and you sure the clutch and all parts were installed right,you may have a bad brake master cylider.
