How many more miles do you need to get out of it? Do the math and multiply your loan term by your annual miles!

I bought a 06 f150 w/198K. Just rolled 232K lol 5W40 synthetic Diesel oil. Although those motors I hear are bullet proof. Just be prepared to do the little things...sensors etc. If you don't spin wrenches, then leave it alone lol
That averages out to about 30,000 per year which is excessive! Highway miles are easier than stop and go miles. Was this a commercial vehicle? If so I'd pass on it unless it's very cheap or you know the vehicle. Any red flags on the vehicle history report such as multiple owners, accidents, or commercial usage? Hope that helps! Jim

I'm at 220k on a 2012 F-250 Super Duty 2x4. I purchased it at 97k in Dec 2015. Other than brakes, tires, a full tune up at 108k, and fluids I've had to replace the turn signal/wiper control arm and passenger side upstream O2 sensor. I tow 6-8k 10% of those miles and it still runs strong. The only issue that bothers me is sometimes the truck has a hard shift from 1st to 2nd gear when cold. I test drove a couple with over 200k and they ran strong still. Drove a couple around the shipyard while I was in the Navy and they ran strong. If you keep up on the fluid changes and don't rag on it all the time you'll see a lot of miles. I'm in the rust belt of Michigan too and the body is holding up good. I expect I'll see 400k before I have to worry about replacement.
