2013 Honda Civic Coupe will not turn over, no lights come on when I open the door or push the break pedal.

I turn the key and nothing happens. No noise
of the car trying to turn over , no
lights..nothing.  Any help is appreciated

Its not your battery - its the car. I have the same problem with my 2013. I cannot play the radio while the motor is off or this same problem will occur. My air conditioner has also stopped working and it looks like its been a defect with Honda since at least 1996. Yet they wont do a damn thing about it. I'll never buy another Honda. Get a jump and you should be fine after that but do not play the radio or anything while the car is off.
