Mazda CX-5 road noise reduction

Question type: General
I have owned a CX-5 for a couple of years now. Pretty happy with the car but
one thing that bothers me the most is the road and wind noise. Waiting for my
tires to wear out to get some quieter Michelins. Does any one have any
suggestions on reducing wind noise?

I recently changed my eyes from the fitted tyres (about 46,000Km) and fitted Michelin and I am very unhappy with the road noise (not wind). I was told that Michelin are softer but way much nosier than I like.
You can reduce road noise by undercoating the vehicle with the same substance that is used on pickup truck beds. Wind noise can be reduced by better windshield and front door glass but I do not know if that option is available for a CX-5. Check with your local auto glass businesses.
