License plate backup camera

Just got a license plate camera, it needs a full time 12 volt connection. Is there
a full time 12 volt line, in the trunk of my 2014 Mustang Convertible?

I doubt it. I think you would have to run a wire straight from the battery with an inline fuse. Why does it need full time power? This would probably run down the battery. I would think it would only need power when the key is switched on. It can't get power from the reverse light wire?

The instruction book has a red wire - full time 12 volt, a white wire to connect to the reverse light and a ground. I had no problem, with the reverse light, but couldn't find a full time 12 volt line. I actually, don't think I need the full time line. Thanks for the info.
