Vapor canister replacement

Asked by March_1995 Feb 23, 2018 at 12:38 PM about the 2014 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 2LZ FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the canister and the solenoid purge valve
replaced. Because engine light came on.  They told
me it would take a few starts before I notice the
cold start to quiet. Still a week later it’s very loud at
start up and I can hear a gurgle when I give it gas.
Should I take back to repair shop?

The gurgle is either the cooling system or water in the tailpipe. Get the car up to temperature, it'll blow the water out of the tailpipe or evaporate it.
