Would a 365ci V8 work with a Rochester 4-Jet Carb & an automatic work in a 1929 Ford Model A? Unsure if a 4spd can be applied or not to a 365ci?

You might have to move/make new bracketry for the radiator, but yeah, more importantly the 12V electrical, changing all the bulbs...etc. These are COOL. my wife would not let me have any more projects since these tend to be a sinkwell for ca$h....just never seem to finish the restoration to a degree what would be sellable/satisfactory...furthermore she wouldn't posit her posterior anywhere there's NO airbags and NO seatbelts...fussie~

to answer your question look at the casting of the intake, look at the base of the carb...and make your determination by lookin' at it. It is hard for us GURUs to know every little thing about every single car, foriegn and domestic...motorcycles and boat engines tooooo-
IIRC the 365 is a early Cadillac engine so the Rochester carb probably is already on it. The guys over at Maximum Torque might be able to hook you up with a bell housing or whatever to hook the tranny up. They specialize in installing 500 ci Caddy engines in everything but they might have something for the 365. http://www.mtscadparts.net/servlet/StoreFront

Jasper green rebuilds are awesome. They take the time to get it right!
well the 29 is already built to accept a new motor as the flathead is no longer there. just a thought. bills need paying first, how much i'd like to keep 57 if it doesn't sell in 50min gonna let 2 others look into it & if neither of them want it i don't know what else i can do as i don't own a garage.
