1931 Ford Model A Electrical Problem

Asked by Guru91YJKG Dec 10, 2021 at 01:15 PM about the 1931 Ford Model A Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The headlights on the car are not working the way they should. The driver
side headlight is always on dim even when I switch to bright. The passenger
side is on bright even dim and bright. I had a problem of blowing fuses and
traced it down to a bad light socket, the wire insulator for the bulb had broken
and shorted out. I replaced it with a new one and now I'm having this issue.
Any help will be appreciated.. Thanks

Check the grounds, a bad ground can cause a feedback messing with control switches.
