how do you rotate the ford ecosport side mirror to its original position?

my drivers seat side mirror (manual folding type) just went to the other side . And i can't
seem to move it back to its original position. it happened when i was doing a reverse in my
garage and it hit our gate upon my acceleration. i didn't manage to see it on my side.  i
saw a misplacement of the cover in the inner mirror and this might had been the caused
why i can't move it back. any tips to this one?

It may be broken a needs to be replaced. Sorry. But mirrors are designed to fold in toward the the rear, like when you hit the pole at the drive-through window, then they will be able to be popped back in place pushing forward on the end...but not when hit going in reverse and forced that way, That's how my Toyota is and a Ford my friend has anyway. Matter of fact it's a Fiesta he has
