Car not locking

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As of 2 days ago, key fob, lock button and when in gear, will NOT lock doors.
Fob, unlock button on door and when in park, doors will UNLOCK but cannot
lock. Has to manually lock each door.

I had the same issue with my 2014 kia sorrento. I heard the clicking noise people were talking about, i even went as far as replacing the fuses, both the short 20a and the 50a. After initially giving up and deciding to call the kia service department, i sat in my car a bit and i noticed the door a jar light was on. So i went around my car and pushed the little black tab on the body known as the door jab( door close and open sensor.) I just placed gray tape on it to hold it down and turned the car on. After that i was able to lock, unlock, and even set the alarm. I am currently waiting for the replacement part i ordered online, to replace it. Good luck and i hope this helps someone
