Kia Sorento Burning Oil

Asked by SB1981 Jan 29, 2019 at 05:25 PM about the 2014 Kia Sorento LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’ve had problems with my 2104 Sorento
burning oil since August. The dealer just told
me it needs a new engine. I believe this is a
manufacturing defect and they know it. My
car is paid off and now I’m screwed.

Same here. Wife's 2014 LX is drinking 2qts in 900 miles. It passed the recall test too at 98k miles. She was told KIA put another 50k on the engine at that time. Now at 130k, they say it isn't their problem. I told her not to buy a KIA . Wouldn't listen
