For all Subaru Foresters owners of 2014 and 2015. Please contact Subaru of America. They should replace for free as this is a common problem. Because of this issue and also the extended transmission warranty on the same models. Sounds like a class action law suit.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Subaru Springs and new transmission warranty. Funny how the dealers stay
quite on this problem. Subaru of america will replace if you complain but if
only 1 breaks they usually only fix the single spring for free. I have heard if
both springs fail, they are replaced with newer version but if only 1 breaks,
they replace with original spring. I am thinking about selling mine before the
extended warranty experies for the transmission.

I would sell it before the warranty runs out. 8 grand for a new transmission!
