What can I do with a 2014 Subaru Forester that needs alot of repairs?

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

My 2014 Subaru Forester with 75K miles, good body , start of rust
underneath. She has need for front and back brakes, rear struts and the
timing cover oil leak that  was fixed last year is again leaking now again, she
is just with this leak not inspectable. My question is that I do not want to put
any more money into her, what can I do with her? Sell her for parts?
Junkyard? I will not be buying a car at a dealer so a trade in is not an option
for me. Should  I get any money for this car? Want to do the right thing.

Sell it as is where is. Be truthful about the problems your aware of. Most likely some Subaru lover will buy it.

Yes, I'd offer it for sale on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. for a reasonably discounted price with full disclosure of the repairs that are needed. Sounds like a good first car for someone. Good luck with your sale! Jim
