My 2014 Forester came with a bare roof, I have access to used side rails, can I mount them?

I would not try to add factory rails but use an after market system like Thule. https://www.rackwarehouse.com/thule-car-roof-racks.html

GO TO A SHOP THAT DOES SUNROOF AND AFTER MARKET ADD ON THEN IF IT WEAKS IT NOT YOUR PROBLEM
