Will a 225/65r17 tire fit on the rim used for a
225/55r17 tire

Be warned, there will be a size/stance/height difference and you may need to verify that if you're planing on putting that wheel and tire combo on your Kia.. make sure you have clearance within the wheel wells and it does not interfere with any braking or suspension components. Your only talking a 1 7/8 in dia, which means it will lift the car up only .937" which is almost 1". Width is the same.
